This is a rare large-scale original poster of Leroy Neiman Andy Warhol's joint exhibition
at the Los Angeles Institute of Contemporary Art in 1981 and presents warhol's portrait of Muhammad Ali.
Warhol photographed Ali for the first time as part of his "Athletes" series that featured the
portraits of the great sports of the 70s. In this image of Ali, the gaze of the legendary
boxer is fixed on the spectator, a few moments from throwing his first punch while the color
swirl around, capturing the energy and excitement of the upcoming fight.
Rare signed with Andy Warhol Foundation certificate for visual arts date 2020.
